The Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum, Reed Exhibitions and Kathleen Wood were pleased to present the 3rd Annual Meeting of The Foodservice Council for Women. This was an exciting collaborative to foster communities of women from all areas of the foodservice industry. The Foodservice Council for Women has been initiated to provide both on-line and off-line communities for women to develop and advance their business knowledge, contacts and careers and to connect, exchange and discuss relevant topics in foodservice.
We were excited to invite you to join us on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 12:30pm-1:30pm for "Breaking Barriers to Success!" presented by Kathleen Wood of Kathleen Wood Partners, Ferdinand Metz, CMC and invited guests. The session included wisdom delivered by seasoned and successful industry professionals that applied to both the professional within an organization and also that of an entrepreneur. She is also the co-founder of the Foodservice Council for Women. Kathleen is a past President and Board Member of Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant and Management from University of Wisconsin – Stout and Master in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.
