Our education program is the gold-standard, industry leading educational opportunity with professional and social networking opportunities and exposure to thought leadership that foodservice professionals from around the world depend on to get the latest industry information.

The education program will include the following formats:
These sessions present topics of interest in the foodservice market that offer strategies for enhancing productivity or shedding light on how to resolve a particular problem or issue. The format of your session can be be single-leader, co-presenters or panel; formats with the goal to share insights and expertise on a particular aspect of restaurant and foodservice operations. Sessions are approximately 60 minutes in length.
Panel of Industry Experts
The strongest consideration will be given to moderated panel discussions, featuring several leading experts from the foodservice industry to discuss one of the topics listed above.
Restaurant Educational Courses
Special half-day or full-day educational courses with a targeted topic or theme that focuses on providing restaurant training and business management and addresses the challenges of running profitable operations. The day is comprised of a series of sessions that are led either by a single-industry expert or taught by a faculty of experts. Instructors use manuals, visual tools and hands-on training techniques.
Several other possible sessions concepts are also accepted:
Roundtable Discussions, Topic Debates, Tastings, CEO/Celebrity Keynotes or Headliners.
Suggestions and Reminders
- Keep in mind that the quality of the description that you submit matters! The ability for your description to clearly explain what the attendees will learn from you is the key to having your submission make it through the various rounds of evaluation.
- Product pitches are not education. Attendees do not like being sold on a specific company when they have invested their valuable time and money to receive tactical training. A strong alternative is a hosted panel discussion of your top clients discussing the importance of a product/company like yours.
- Do a reality check on your submission. It's important to be aware of the marketplace and what's on attendee minds.
Submissions are subjected to the following review:
- Originality - Topics should provide a unique perspective, viewpoint or way of doing something.
- Timeliness and Interest - Topics should contain new material not previously presented at other events.
- Educational Value - An objective presentation that meets the educational needs of the audience is optimal to enhancing the credibility of the speaker, the speaker's employer and the conference. Sales pitches are NOT considered.
Reference Materials - Reference materials are required. Our audience appreciates receiving support documentation to enhance their educational experience and serve as a reference when they return to the office. (If you rely on live demonstrations, your reference materials should be an outline of the demonstration with key reference points.)
Deadlines - All selected speakers will be required to submit all necessary presentation materials in accordance with deadlines prior to the event.
No Substitutions - Speaker and panelist substitutions are not allowed, except in the case of an emergency. In the event that a speaker cannot fulfill his/her commitment due to an emergency, a substitute may be submitted in writing for approval; however this does not guarantee a speaking slot for the substitute.
Financial Assistance - Speakers are responsible for expenses as well as hotel and travel arrangements.
