As a 40-year veteran and 2nd generation restaurateur, native New Yorker Brad Johnson is a well-respected owner and operator of notable restaurants in New York and Los Angeles. Johnson’s career began at his father’s legendary restaurant, The Cellar, on Manhattans Upper West Side learning the business starting as a dishwasher and majoring in Hotel restaurant Management at the University Of Massachusetts. From there, Johnson went on to create and operate: Memphis in NYC.; Roxbury on Sunset in West Hollywood; Georgia, an upscale southern restaurant on Melrose; The Sunset Room in Hollywood; Vbar in Las Vegas: Menemsha in Marina Del Rey; BLT Steak in West Hollywood; and Willie Jane in Venice. Johnson’s Post and Beam Hospitality Group owns Post & Beam restaurant in the Baldwin Hills community of Los Angeles, a Zagat rated, LA Times Jonathan Gold Top 101 restaurant for the past five years.
